Due to faulty packaging from Konica Minolta this item can be damaged in transit. The damage is completely cosmetic and does not affect the item in any way. Should it be damaged you must locate the plastic pieces that have broken off. If they fall into the inside of the unit they will damage the rollers when it is activated.
When these items are shipped from our main facility in Burbank, CA we place a strip of tape across these parts so that if they do break, they remain in place and can easily be accounted for.
Please refer to the picture illustrating the two plastic pieces that can break-ff while in transit, and check your unit when it arrives before installing or turning it on.
